You can always build a property with money, but with trees, you pay with time. That is a line we like to tell our friends, and it is exactly why we planted from the very beginning. While we were still building, we were already putting trees in the ground, giving them a special place to grow alongside the cabins. Years on, that patience is what you feel the most. Shade everywhere you look, birds in the branches, and a property that feels like it grew out of the land instead of landing on top of it.
