Getting to Veue from Manila

Updated · July 27, 2026

The trip to Veue is a proper road trip, and the drive is part of the getaway. Veue sits in Sitio Abrac, Patar White Beach, Bolinao, Pangasinan. By road, it is roughly 280 to 300 km from Metro Manila, and the drive takes 5 to 6 hours depending on traffic, route, and rest stops.

The Route

The usual route goes through the expressways: NLEX, then SCTEX, then TPLEX. From TPLEX, the fastest exits for Bolinao are Paniqui or Gerona. Many guests also stop at Luisita for food, fuel, or a quick shop before continuing the drive.

After the expressways, the route continues through Alaminos, then along the coastal road into Bolinao, then through Bolinao town toward Patar. Just before Veue, you’ll pass the Cape Bolinao Lighthouse. From there, continue past the Patar Main Beach parking lot, then take the small uphill road to the left. We are located within Natures Beach Camp Compound, beside G Beach Resort.

When to Leave Manila

Leave Manila by 7:00 to 8:00 AM for a relaxed trip. Most guests arrive comfortably in time for our 2:00 PM check-in.

Most guests stop twice. Petron Lakeshore on NLEX (Km 71, Pampanga) is the largest stop on the route and the best choice for a proper meal, and Petron Km 134 at Gerona is the only stopover on TPLEX, so it is worth fuelling up there before the last stretch into Pangasinan.

For every stop in order, with what each one is good for, see The Ultimate Stopover Guide.

What to Bring

  • Bring food and drinks for the cabin, the kitchen is yours to use, and there is no corkage fee
  • Plan a grocery stop in Alaminos (the last large supermarket town) or Bolinao town on the way in
  • Cell signal weakens as you approach Patar, so download your route in advance if you are relying on a single map app

Arriving at Veue

The caretakers will meet you at the property. Check-in is 2:00 PM. If you arrive earlier and your cabin is ready, they will let you settle in early when they can. For an early or late check-in, let the caretakers know a day or two in advance and we will try to make it work.

Other Ways In

  • Public transportation. Buses run from Manila to Alaminos. From Alaminos, take a van or jeepney to Bolinao town, then a tricycle to Patar. The trip is longer than driving and involves multiple transfers; most guests prefer the drive.
  • Private hire. If you’d rather not drive, you can arrange a private hire from Manila. We can recommend trusted operators if you ask in advance.
