Nearby Restaurants and Room Service

Updated · June 6, 2026

If you don’t feel like cooking, you have three main directions: order from G Cafe next door, drive to Sungayan Grill on the Balingasay River, or head into Bolinao town. Each one fits a different kind of meal.

G Cafe, Next Door, Delivers to Your Cabin

G Cafe is the restaurant attached to the property next door (G Beach Resort). It functions as Veue’s room service, delivering food and drinks to your cabin on request.

  • What to expect: a Filipino menu with starters, soups, mains, grill, and packages for larger groups (Bolinao, Patar, Lighthouse, and Caves packages). Highlights include Sizzling Sisig, Bulalo, Sinigang, Caldereta, grilled Bangus, and Filipino breakfast sets.
  • How to order: ask one of the caretakers. They will pass the order over and let you know when it’s coming.

This is the easiest option for breakfast, a light lunch, or a meal at the end of a long beach day when no one wants to cook.

Sungayan Grill, Floating Restaurant on the Balingasay River

About a twenty-five-minute drive from Veue, Sungayan Grill is a floating restaurant on the Balingasay River, one of the cleanest rivers in the Philippines. The setting is the main thing.

  • How to get there: drive yourself or arrange a tricycle through the caretakers
  • Pair with: a stop at one of the nearby caves on the way back

Worth a half-day plan: lunch at Sungayan, then a stop at one of the nearby caves on the way back.

Bolinao Town Restaurants

About thirty-five minutes from Veue, Bolinao town has several local restaurants. A few that come up in guest reviews:

  • Philhispania Resto
  • River Village Resort
  • Giant Taklobo Seafood

The wet market is also in town if you want to pick up fresh seafood, vegetables, or fruit for cooking back at the cabin.

  • How to get there: drive, or arrange a tricycle through the caretakers
  • Combine with: a visit to St. James Church (built 1609), a stop at the wet market, or a stop at the Cape Bolinao Lighthouse on the way back

Drinks and Corkage

There is no corkage fee at Veue. If you bring your own wine, beer, or spirits, you can serve them at your cabin or on the porch without any extra charge. Most guests stock the refrigerator on the way in.
