The Swimming Pools

Veue has two infinity-style lap pools. Both have the same dimensions, the same ocean view, and the same in-pool features. What changes is who shares which pool.

Pool Specs

• Two lap pools, both 4 x 12 meters
• 4 feet deep, uniform depth across each pool
• Infinity-style edge, the pool’s water-edge appears to merge with the sea horizon beyond
• Underwater bench along the edge of each pool, so you can sit in chest-deep water and watch the view
• In-pool lounge area at one end
• Pool chairs and day beds around both pools

The Two Pools

Shoreline Pool, the central pool, between the Shoreline Cabins, around the lap-pool courtyard. Shared by all six Shoreline Cabins.

Horizon Pool, elevated, beside the two Horizon Cabins, with the most panoramic views on the property. Exclusive to the two Horizon Cabins only.

If you book a Shoreline cabin, you have the Shoreline pool. If you book a Horizon cabin, you have access to the Horizon pool (and the Shoreline pool too).

Temperature

Neither pool is heated. Both are exposed to direct sun through most of the day, so the water stays at a comfortable temperature year-round. Mornings are coolest; afternoons are warm.

Hours

Pools are open until 10:00 PM, at which point the pool lights turn off. Night swimming during the lit hours is welcome.

Pool Rules

A few things to keep the pools safe and clean for everyone:

• Watch children closely. Pools are 4 feet deep; that is over a child’s head.
• No diving, running, or rough play. The pools are not deep enough for diving.
• No glass. Use the plastic cups provided at your cabin. A glass breakage requires draining and refilling the pool.
• No eating or smoking in the pool.
• Wear proper swimwear. Rinse off at the outdoor shower before entering.
• Keep noise low, especially during quiet hours (9:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
• No littering. Use the bins around the deck.

Pets are welcome on the beach and on the gardens around the pools, but not in the pool water itself.
