Wi-Fi and TV

Updated · June 6, 2026

Patar is a remote stretch of coastline. The cell signal is weak, so we built the property’s connectivity around the assumption that the WiFi is your main connection.

The Internet

  • Connection: Starlink satellite internet, property-wide
  • Coverage: every cabin, the common areas, and most of the gardens

Starlink handles the bandwidth for streaming, video calls, and remote work without the bottlenecks that older satellite services had.

The WiFi password and a QR code to connect are on the travel kit in your cabin. The caretakers can share them too if you need them.

The TV

Every cabin has a 50-inch LG smart TV with internet access. Netflix and YouTube are the default channels. You can also sign in to your own accounts, such as Amazon Prime Video or Disney+, or cast from your phone or laptop. Just remember to log out of your personal accounts before check-out so the next guest doesn’t land on your library.

Cell Signal

Cell signal in Patar is weak. Texts usually go through; calls and mobile data are unreliable. The WiFi is the practical alternative for voice calls (WhatsApp, Viber, FaceTime, regular phone-app calls) and any data you need.

If the Internet Goes Down

It happens occasionally. Starlink may pause briefly during heavy weather. If you lose connection for more than a few minutes, the caretakers can confirm whether it’s a property issue or something on the upstream side.
