Hundred Islands National Park

The signature day trip. Hundred Islands is a protected national park in Alaminos, about an hour east along the gulf, with 124 small limestone islands (123 at high tide) scattered across Lingayen Gulf.

You drive to Lucap Wharf, hire a bangka with its boatman at the official booth, and spend the day island-hopping. The standard route covers three or four named islands, each with a beach and a few amenities. Children's Island is the easiest landing, Quezon Island has the lookout, Governor's Island has the zipline.

Boat rates are posted at the wharf and depend on group size: a small bangka for one to five guests is around ₱800 for a day tour, a medium boat for six to ten around ₱1,000, a large boat for eleven to fifteen around ₱1,100. Pack a picnic, bring sun cover, and leave Patar in the morning to make the most of the light.
