Cancellation and Rebooking
Updated · June 6, 2026
The cancellation policy is straightforward, with two specific exceptions for medical and weather emergencies. The policy applies to cabin rates only; the refundable security deposit follows separate rules and is returned after checkout.
Standard Cancellation
| Timing | Refund |
|---|---|
| More than 20 days before check-in | 50% refund of the cabin rate |
| Within 20 days of check-in | No refund |
The 20-day boundary is calculated from the check-in date.
Medical Emergency Exception
If a medical emergency makes you unable to travel, rebooking is available:
- Requires documentation (a medical certificate or equivalent)
- 15% surcharge on the rebooked cabin rate
- One rebooking only per original booking
- Without valid documentation, the booking is treated as a no-show (non-refundable)
The rebooked dates have to be within a reasonable timeframe and depend on availability. Contact us to coordinate.
Weather Emergency Exception
If a government-declared weather emergency (typhoon, storm signal, evacuation order) affects your travel:
- Rebooked at no charge, no surcharge, no penalty
- Subject to availability on the new dates
The trigger is a formal government declaration, not just bad weather. If you’re unsure whether a forecast qualifies, contact us as your travel date approaches and we’ll work it out.
No-Shows
If you do not arrive on your check-in date and have not communicated with us, the booking is treated as non-refundable. The security deposit is refunded according to the standard rules.
If something has come up and you’re going to be late or cannot make it, reach out to us as early as you can. The earlier you tell us, the more options we have.
How Refunds Are Processed
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method
- Exact timing depends on the payment method and, for some methods, the receiving bank
- The ₱4,000 security deposit is a separate refund, processed within 48 hours of checkout
Other Situations
These situations follow the standard cancellation policy above:
- Change of plans outside of medical or weather emergencies.
- Travel delays from traffic, road closures, or vehicle issues.
- Group cancellations where the cabin booking stays. The rate is per cabin, so it stands as booked.
A Note on Communication
If anything changes about your booking, dates, headcount, special requests, concerns about weather, let us know as early as you can. Most things are easier to handle with a couple of weeks’ notice than with a couple of days’.
