Patar Beach at Veue
Jun 6Veue sits directly on Patar Beach in Bolinao, a long golden-sand coastline on the West Philippine Sea. From March to August the sand is thick and wide, with calm, turquoise swimming water. From September to February the tide retreats and rock formations appear closer to the shoreline, with bigger waves and dramatic sunset skies.

Beach Safety and Conditions
Jun 6Patar Beach has a gradual slope with shallow water near shore and a sudden depth drop fifteen to twenty meters out. Aqua shoes are recommended. Night swimming in the ocean is prohibited by local barangay. Ask the caretakers for daily sea conditions before swimming.

The Swimming Pools
Jun 6Two infinity-style lap pools, both 4 x 12 meters and 4 feet deep, with in-pool lounge benches and ocean views. The Shoreline pool is shared by all six Shoreline cabins; the Horizon pool is exclusive to the two Horizon cabins. Both are unheated but warm from the sun.

The Patar Rock Formations
Jun 6A short boat trip from Veue, toward Bani, takes you to the Patar Rock Formations along the coast. Best visited during the dry season when the water is calm. Our caretakers can arrange the boat.

Secluded Beaches and Coves Near Veue
Jun 6Patar Beach is open in both directions from Veue. To the north (right when facing the sea), Patar Public Beach (often called the Main Beach) sits past G Beach Resort. To the south (left), the shoreline crosses into Bani, a quieter stretch known for raw, undeveloped nature, stronger waves, and rock formations. Quieter spots are also reachable by boat through the caretakers.
