What to Bring
Updated · June 6, 2026
The cabin is set up so you don’t need much. Here’s a short list of what’s provided, what to bring, and what to leave at home.
Provided
- Bath towels (white) and pool / beach towels (grey) for every guest
- Bedding, flat sheets, blankets, four pillows per bed, sofa-bed bedding included
- Full kitchen equipment, induction stove, microwave, refrigerator, rice cooker, French press, cookware, knives, openers, dining set, drinking and wine glasses, coffee mugs, boiling pot
- Hot water pot for coffee and tea
- Heated shower
- Wi-Fi, Starlink, property-wide
- Smart TV with streaming app access
Bring
- Drinking water. Drinking water is not provided. Bring bottled or filtered water for your stay. The fridge has room for up to five-liter water containers.
- Food and drinks for in-cabin cooking. The kitchen is yours to use, and it pairs well with room service from G Cafe next door for meals you’d rather not cook. A grocery stop in Bolinao or Alaminos on the way in is the most common approach.
- Swimwear and beachwear for the pools and the beach
- Sunscreen, sun hats, sunglasses, Patar sun is bright
- Aqua socks if you plan to visit rocky areas, the caves, the waterfalls, or the rockier sections of the beach
- Personal toiletries beyond the basics provided (shampoo, conditioner, soap)
- Work essentials if you’re working remotely, laptop charger, headphones, anything specific to your routine
- Phone Wi-Fi-calling setup before you arrive (mobile signal in Patar is weak; see the Wi-Fi article)
- Reef-safe sunscreen is a good call if you’ll be swimming in the sea
- Light layer for cooler evenings during the wet season (September to February)
For Specific Cases
- Snorkel gear if you want to use the sea. Patar’s water is mostly for swimming and watching rather than coral-reef snorkelling, but the gear has its uses around the rock formations during the dry season.
- Beach toys for kids: sand toys, floats, anything you’d use at a regular beach.
- Books and downloads in case you want to be fully offline some afternoons. The Wi-Fi is reliable, but the property invites you to unplug.
If You Need Something
A hairdryer is available in most cabins, and an iron and ironing board are available on request. The caretakers can also run a quick errand to nearby shops if you need something during your stay. Be mindful that they’re helping all the guests at once, so plan ahead where you can.
Most guests overpack. The cabin is designed so you arrive, drop your bags, and start your stay without needing to set up.
